Content & obscurity

"I will beat you 10 out of 10 if I'm big on content and you're not".

"I don't care how busy you are, if you give me the convenient of excuse of you're too busy for content, you will battle in obscurity", he said.

Why does this matter to you?

It doesn't. It's for me—especially the "I don't care how busy you are". To me, it sounded like "if you can't make time, they're probably not as important as you told them they are".

Although, I can't remember ever saying you were important. But I didn't have to say it. I wouldn't obviously tell the story of my life to some stranger.

I'm doing that documentary I mentioned. It's formed a big part of my side projects for June and July.

I haven't sat down to write the brief yet, but I can almost imagine the first set of sentences would be:

I am no god. I am not the future. God—Future? That's just something I say to myself feel better. On some days, I've got dreams and everything seems clear. Other days, it's just top shelf harmattan—a storm even!

A god won't have that to contend with, if he were one.

I've always wanted to get that out. Lol.

Now that I have, maybe I won't use it after all.

God—Future X actually starts in less than 10 days.

X is a collaborative workshop hosted by someone in a location with me as the anchor. The first one is in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

I think it'll be good. What's the worst that could happen?

About the documentary, my friend Yoma is directing it and it is co-produced by the Tri—bbe.

It should be cool to make. It really should.

I also started the words for my autobiography with:

I'm God because I choose to be one—just like the Higher One. He's not God because you call him one, neither am I. I choose to be God, and I'll spend my time being one.

It sounded much better when I first wrote it.

How are you, Praise?
