Time is so short
The past few weeks have been gruelling. The next few weeks are not looking any easy. For example, God—Future X would hold its third event at Bells University, Ota, Ogun State and I'm the main speaker of a Tech & Design Conference in the same school.
I have just onboarded 2 new clients, and closing the current two is just around the corner. I finally finished the experimental model approach for my brand projects, but now I have to learn new things to figure out its execution.
Praise, I told a client yesterday, "this phase is completely vague to me when it comes to its execution, but I assure you that it is important to the success of this project".
I'm gracious to have people like him.
One project particularly excites me. It's a personal branding project for one of my sweethearts. He wants to be more intentional about his brand and he thought, "Praise can help out with this".
I remember I said, "there's a possibility that this may or may not end in you having a logo" and he was so cool and calm in the fact that Praise nor fit fuck up.
Sigh. He's reading this now btw.
My team at TechAdvance is moving into a new phase and after spending the last two months trying to figure out the best way to manage communications and KPIs, I think I got something.
Problem? I have not figured out the architecture of the solution.
With evolution comes complexity; and with complexity comes the necessary reliance on simplicity.
'Cos, Praise, how did the early man solve his problems? He was hungry? He ate. He was angry? He fought. In the last millennium, we had cultures that solved disputes by pointing guns at their faces, walking away with only one face alive.
I decided to create a Discord community for the X Community—my community of students. As expected, I have to figure out value provision to inspire engagement and self sustainability.
I've also begun shooting clips of the documentary. I have an overview script to send over to start discussions on direction and casting.
Praise, this is only half of it. It seems time isn't enough. Frankly, I don't think it is.
But I find that time is what we make it into.
The advice of delegation, don't procrastinate, don't work only when you feel like it, etc?
It works. Listen to it. Do it, and hopefully your life won't be in shambles. Half the time you complain about not enough time to do tasks, like me, you probably didn't do some things when they should've been done.
You're not like everybody.
Plan time like it's yours, cos it is.
Ciao.
