Seriously, yesterday was fun
Friends are not my forte.
I am quite a noob at keeping friends. Seriously!
I can make friends to an extent and sometimes, the word "friend" mean something different to me depending on the context in which it was said. For example, "you are my friend" is different from "Mudia is my friend".
Joo get?
But yesterday, I made a number of friends.
Everyone went "what's your name?" with almost every other person, but "oh, you're the Praise" when it came to me. Lol. I felt seen.
And to top it all off, my personality betrayed me. No one who saw me yesterday for the first time would accurately guess that I was an introvert through and through.
And right about the time when my social battery was on 0%, it was me, Shisha and a cocktail.
This morning, I was on my bed but I felt like I was rocking. It was weird tbh. A lot of people has mentally checked out for the year but I cannot seem to say I have.
Although, I have new plans and goals from next year—that I am starting this year. One of them include the $10K per project goal. Another includes the first live version of AntiSpace—the last one was the Beta phase.
I have friendships to keep and nurture. And close friends to take out on trips last year. I have a company to prosper. And a startup of mine to build. I have newsletters to write. And a community to build.
But yesterday, I had fun.
And it made sense.
Here's to more.
